Information will be updated on a quarterly basis.  You are encouraged to access the link for national data from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), listed below.  Statistics and maps specific to Montana are provided as web links and PDF documents for easy dissemination.

  • New cases diagnosed since 1/1/09=27
  • Total new cases diagnosed in 2008 = 22
  • Cumulative number of cases reported since 1985=941
  • Cumulative deaths since 1985 = 382
  • Cumulative number of cases diagnosed in Montana since 1985=588
  • Number of reported cases known to be living in Montana* = 429
    • Living Adult HIV cases = 154
    • Living Adult AIDS cases = 272
    • Living Pediatric HIV/AIDS cases = 2

*Please note that due to a data cleaning this month, number of people reported to be living with HIV/AIDS in the state has decreased.
